Description

I) Overall Financial Management

a) He / She shall be responsible for financial forecasting and assessment accruing programmatic budgets as received from Executive Director, Sr. Director, HODs for the implementations of their monthly action plans and approving any deviation thereof as per the decisions of the Management Committee and the MD.

b) He/ She shall be responsible for managing cost for functional operations and programmes.

c) He/ She shall be responsible for oversighting of adherence to the financial policy of the Organisation

d) He/she shall be responsible for oversighting of non-institutional corporates and individual fund raising (Funds raised from corporates as part of CSR and not from foundation organization, Governance of any other RFP’s)

e) He/ She shall be responsible for follow up on existing system and processes and compliance thereof including: i) Generation of MIS reports for programme delivery. ii) Generation of MIS Report for financial process. iii) Cash flow analysis and follow up

f) He/ She shall be responsible for overseeing audits and evaluations

g) He/ She must ensure the implementation of financial decisions taken by the MD or Management Committee

II) Ensure Compliances:

a) He/ She shall ensure that the organization compliance with all statutory and other legal requirements such as following: i) Income Tax ii) FCRA iii) Registration of Trust iv) Niti Ayog v) Licenses and other registrations vi) System and process compliance and integration with existing laws and policies. vii) Any other law complied with

b) He/ She shall be responsible for the implementation of all important functional policies for the overall governance within his/ her team which includes:  Financial Manual  Risk Management  Child Protection Policy  Policy on Sexual/ Harassment at workplace  Conflict of Interest  Human Resource policy  IT Policy  Grievance Redressal Policy  Training and Development Guidelines  Code of Conduct

c) He/ She shall be responsible for implementation and compliance to decisions of the Board, the Management Committees

III) Cross Functional Integration a) He/ She shall be responsible for compliance of processes to share information and experiences, leverage cross cutting initiative across the organization. b) He/ She shall be responsible for driving and communicating organization’s vision, values and culture within his/her team. c) He/ She shall be responsible for measuring associates’ job satisfaction within his/her team periodically. d) He/ She shall be responsible for development, assessment and feedback of performances metrics of his/her team and discuss the same with MD. e) He/ She shall be responsible for measuring donors and partners’ association satisfaction periodically. f) He/ She shall be responsible for measuring functional return on investment VS outcome, output and impact. g) He/ She shall be responsible for identifying good practices and implications. h) He/ She shall be responsible for ensuring that the strategic world class financial management capability is in place and operationalized. i) He/ She shall be responsible for providing the avenues for clarification on Management decisions. j) He/ She shall be responsible to work closely with the MD on outcome and delivery of programmes. k) Ensure overall security including i) Security of tangible and non-tangible assets. iii) Provide Financial Data Security. iii) Provide security for Intellectual property like trademarks, copy rights etc IV) Financial Operations a) He/ She shall be responsible for creating and implementing continuous financial processes for improvement in quality of performance as well as satisfaction from work amongst his/her team by: i) Ensuring clear Job Responsibilities ii) Feedback on MIS Reports iii) Ensuring the implementation of appraisals, processes and staff development policies within his/her team. b) He/ She shall be responsible for leading the finance team. c) He/ She shall be responsible for ensuring the need gap analysis within his/her team. d) He/ She shall be responsible for timely action on recommendations given by external consultants and agencies. e) He/ She shall be responsible compliances of Article of Association/Trust deed including: i. Formation of Various committees
